Great fitter , great quality wardrobes

From start to finish Hammonds have been great . The design process was straightforward and customer service were available and communicated well . The fitter Gheorgh was brilliant . He was prompt , professional, skilled and completely tidied up afterwards . I am delighted with the wardrobes .

Living room furniture

We are very happy with our living room furniture. It initially took us a quite a while to finally decide on the actual design, and in the process, we changed our mind about a number of things. However, throughout this process, our designer Amy was really helpful and she supported us all the way with extra visits and numerous e-mail exchanges. Thank you, Amy. We were also very happy with our fitter, Peter. He arrived on time, he was courteous and he made sure we were happy with what he was doing. He worked very efficiently and did a great job installing our furniture. He also took care to leave everywhere looking clean and tidy afterwards. Our only issue would be that initially there was a poor finish to the edging on the shelves supplied. However, when we brought this to Hammonds’ attention they responded immediately and arranged for replacements which were fitted a fortnight later.

Absolutely brilliant, would use again

The representative, Carole Taylor, came out to see us promptly after our enquiry was made. She was very pleasant and helpful, and gave sound advice as to the design which would suit our needs, as we weren't sure. She carried all the samples with her, which was a great help. Communication as a whole was fantastic, Hammonds kept us constantly informed of everything. The surveyor, Jason Spencer, was great, ensuring colours, design etc. and confirmed date of installation. The fitter himself, John Thompson, was clean and put dust sheets down everywhere. He was polite and careful, and did an absolutely amazing job; the bedroom looks fantastic! Overall, we'd recommend Hammonds to anyone; from start to finish they were brilliant and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

David came to fit today

David came to fit today . He did a fantastic job . He's a really good worker started at 8 am and finished at 6.30 pm. He managed the solve of the challenges that fitting furniture under the stairs can bring . He was very courteous , and very tidy ! . Just two snags which were not his fault . A missing shelf and a damaged door . But he ordered the parts there and then and arranged a date to come to fit . Very impressive .

All good from start to finish

All good from start to finish. We had already had wardrobes fitted by Hammonds courtesy of our builder and this was the first purchase we organised. We had searched long and hard for suitable bookshelves when we recalled Hammonds did office furniture. Fitter was timely, courtesy and cleaned everything after he had finished.
