Holly came to Hammonds to create the perfect nursery for her new baby girl, bringing together beautiful pink tones and thoughtful storage to create a space that feels as special as she is. A room designed for those precious early days, with plenty of room to grow and make memories for years to come.

Why did you choose Hammonds?
I chose Hammonds because I'd seen so many amazing room transformations and the quality looked incredible! Not only that but the pink peony colour was exactly what I was looking for!
What was the space like before you had the transformation?
The spare room we had was basically a dumping ground for things that didn't have a home. Being able to turn this space into a usable beautiful bedroom for our baby girl was a dream. The wardrobes will see her from baby to adult without needing to be replaced which was my main aim when designing the space.
How would you describe your interior style?
I'd say my interior style is modern. I love a gold accent and I am a pretty neutral lover with the rest of our home, so it's been super fun to play around with pink in this room, I'd have the whole house like this if my husband would agree!
Is organisation important to you? If so, why?
I am a naturally messy person and if something doesn't have a place I don't know what to do with it. Having enough space and actual homes for items is not only going to declutter the space but it also declutters my mind too!
What is the best thing about your new space?
The best thing about the space is how cosy and expensive it looks! We have some flatpack wardrobe solutions in our other rooms and the difference in quality and feel is incomparable. How seamlessly it is built into the space makes such a difference.
How has your furniture had a positive impact on your life?
Having such a huge wardrobe space now means not only do I have space for baby girls clothes and shoes, but I also have some space for myself whilst she's still little to keep my things organised. There's also such a large space at the top to hide Christmas presents from the kids which is a major bonus!
