Walk In Wardrobes
An enviable addition to any home, walk-in wardrobes allow you to organise with ease. Our bespoke fitted designs with cleverly concealed storage help make dreams a reality, all made-to-measure for a flawless fit. Create an in-wardrobe dressing room or upgrade an unused box room.
Handcrafted Walk-In Wardrobes
Tailor your walk-in wardrobe to reflect your style and the way you live. Choose a doorless, open-plan design with integrated lighting to create a luxurious, boutique-inspired space where everything is visible and within easy reach.
Alternatively, choose fitted wardrobe doors or sliding wardrobes to keep clothes and shoes neatly tucked away, delivering a calm, clutter-free environment.
With a wide choice of layouts and door styles, our bespoke designs maximise every inch of space, bringing effortless organisation, seamless accessibility and a sleek finish to your bedroom.
Made-to-measure dressing rooms

Our fitted dressing rooms maximise organisation and refined luxury. U-shaped layouts create an all-encompassing space, L-shaped designs make elegant use of corners, and galley layouts bring streamlined efficiency to narrow rooms.
Choose an open, boutique-style dressing room to showcase your wardrobe with considered display and lighting. Each layout is tailored to ensure a seamless fit.

Such a lovely friendly and talented…
Such a lovely friendly and talented designer. Tracy took on board our many, somewhat difficult, requirements and came up with a design we loved. She followed the visit up, making sure she had covered our needs and tweaked the design to incorporate the additional features we felt we’d like. I feel Tracy gave 110% to us. It was such a pleasure meeting her.

Frequently asked questions
All our fitted furniture is made to measure and customised inside and out, so there's no set price for our walk-in wardrobes. The final cost will depend on a variety of things, including size, storage options and the style you choose. At Hammonds, we're committed to unrivalled quality at the best possible prices, so you can be sure you're getting the most for your money.
Flexible layouts are best for walk-in wardrobes, ensuring all your possessions have a home and are organised to simplify daily dressing. We recommend combining shelving, drawers and hanging rails to maximise storage space, set around a central dressing area. If space allows, you could invest in walk-in wardrobe furniture, such as a chair or dressing table.
A walk-in wardrobe is a storage-focused space you can step into, designed to organise clothes, shoes and accessories. It's usually centred around efficient storage with features like rails, shelving and drawers, all within easy reach.
A dressing room is a more elevated, lifestyle-led space that goes beyond storage. In addition to the organisational features of a walk-in wardrobe, it often includes elements like seating, mirrors, dressing tables and featured lighting.
The amount of space you need for a walk-in wardrobe depends on the layout and level of luxury you'd like to achieve.
A small walk-in wardrobe can work from around 1.5m x 1.5m for a single-sided layout or a converted alcove, while a more standard design typically starts at around 2m x 2m to allow storage on multiple walls with comfortable movement.
Dressing rooms may require 3m x 3m or larger to provide room for features such as U-shaped storage, a central island or a dressing table. As a guide, allow around 60cm depth for hanging clothes and at least 90-100cm of clear space to move easily.
Yes, they can work well in small rooms when designed thoughtfully. Even compact spaces or spare box rooms can be transformed into practical, luxurious walk-ins by prioritising smart layouts and making efficient use of every inch, with single-wall, L-shaped or slim galley configurations.
