What to expect from a design visit
Try out lots of options
‘At Hammonds, we create designs on the computer in front of you, rather than drawing the plan on paper as some firms do. That means you can try out lots of different ideas until you feel totally confident in your decision. We’ll even take a photo of your wallpaper and carpet and upload them to the 3D plan, so you can really imagine how different your room could be.
Prepare to be surprised
'A designer can show you solutions you didn’t know were possible,’ says Tom. ‘For example, you might have a sloping ceiling and think hanging space isn’t an option for you, but we can design cupboards that include a low hanging rail with shelves above for folded clothes or bedding.

Having a well organised home is just one less thing to worry about.
A key consideration was storage space as Jennifer explained: “Because Daye is an energetic four-year old, he loves playing with his toys and he has lots of them!
“When I had my offer accepted on the house I started to think about where it might be good to add in storage, so for instance the alcoves in Victorian houses are the perfect places to introduce storage solutions that are in keeping with the room aesthetic.
Initially, she had heard about Hammonds through word of mouth but thought that it would be too expensive as she needed a lot of fitted furniture, in her lounge, kitchen, master bedroom and Daye’s room. However, once she had seen the many different looks that were available in the Hammonds range and got an idea of the price points, she was really surprised by how economical they turned out to be.

Seamless and meticulous
From start to finish the process was seamless with every single member of the team giving high quality service. Nothing has been too much trouble and everyone has worked extremely hard to ensure the process ran smoothly. Today, Michael finished installing our wardrobes. He has been good humoured, highly efficient, skilled, and meticulous in his approach, showing great attention to detail. We could not be happier with the result. Each day, he left the workspace clean and tidy and did a final clean before he left. He talked us through the features and checked we were happy with the finish. The wardrobes were fully cleaned and ready to use. We are extremely grateful for a beautiful job and would not hesitate in recommending Hammonds for the quality of their product, but especially for the skill and commitment their staff have shown at every level. Thank you to the whole team. It has been a great pleasure to work with you all.

John and Sam from Hammond's did an…
John and Sam from Hammond's did an amazing job on my built in wardrobes. Both were polite and professional and left the house very clean and tidy. I wasn't in when they finished the job but they did a full demonstration for my mum and explained about leaving them for a few hours so the caulk could dry properly. I would definitely recommend Hammond's. From start to finish the company have been helpful and professional.

Excellent service from design to completion
Once again our Hammonds fitter has been excellent. So courteous and polite. A real pleasure to have working in our home. In fact we requested him to come again after he fitted our study furniture last year. Would recommend Hammonds wholeheartedly if he is an example of their employees. A very satisfied customer yet again.

The whole experience with your company was excellent from the beginning, nearly to the end (would be perfect with the shelves 😁). The planner Dawid was very easy to deal with, nothing was a problem for him. Great communication and he clearly knows his job very well(just the little detail with the shelves). The fitter Oliver has impressive work morals and commitment. He is a real credit to your company. Nothing was a problem for him, he works very hard, but always keep a smile on his face. He did a very good job. There was only one problem that we wanted to have three shelves and the planner and surveyor have not noticed there were electrical cables and plumbing running through that wall. Therefore when the fitter came around, he said it could cause problems drilling into that wall. I know with projects like this things can sometimes go wrong and it's sad, we didn't get the shelves, but we will have to manage without them. We are very happy with our beautiful fitted office and would definitely recommend Hammonds. Even dealing with the recalculation for the price of the shelves, you got back to me quickly and hopefully it will be processed shortly. Thank you for a really good experience. After seriously bad experience with other professionals in the past, your company made a big step towards restoring my beliefs in some good heard working people who know what they are doing.

Very happy with my experience and my new room
From the home visit to talk about my hopes for my bedroom and wanting to include a corner desk so I no longer had to work in my lounge until I retire, and wanting more hanging space to stop hanging things over my doors I was listened to and the design was perfect for my needs. I loved the range of colours and decided on Fjord blue, a statement that I can work with for bedding and curtains. The installation was excellent. The fitter literally did not stop and left the room tidy. I am more than happy with the service I have had and the quality of the furniture. Thank you for making my bedroom work for me, something the old layout had stopped doing a long time ago.
