Timeless fitted living room storage

The Design

The expert Hammonds designer Michelle Nugent planned the living room to the family’s storage needs and style preferences on their personalised, free design visit. Mrs Vorajee told us how she was keen to have wires and electrical equipment like the television box neatly tucked away and out of harms reach from the children. This was incorporated into the design with low level cupboards and discreet cable outlets to connect to the television along with more cupboards to place toys and other items.

The placement of the shelves were designed and fitted to the couple's requirements with help and advise from the designer, something that freestanding, pre-made furniture can't provide. With the ARTicad system, the couple could see a computerised visual of their design as it was being created. These clever storage ideas for the living room were simple to design with fitted furniture made to order, dedicated to the couple’s needs.

Mr and Mrs Vorajee were looking for a timeless range in a light finish. They found that the minimalist furniture door style of the Radley range with the textured wood grain in Rural Oak finish was the style for them. The smooth, modern cabinet door style is available in 8 colour tones from the traditional looking matte wood grained texture to modern sleek grey or crisp white. 

The family were impressed with the process from the surveyor ensuring the designs and measurements were correct, right up to the final fit.
