Just my personal opinion

When I had a complaint, Jeanie from The Complaints Department sorted it out for me without fuss and to my complete satisfaction. The fitters were brilliant - did a very neat Job - especially Marcus Graham who just completed work for me today - He was very friendly yet professional, answered all my questions, involved me in decision making, - arrived on time, left the room clean and tidy. I an grateful for these 3 people. I did not have the best rapport with my designer and I believe this prolonged my decision making. I wanted advice but was told he could not give it to me as he did not know what my needs were - For me I would have found someone more open about their opinions and willing to discuss options rather that claiming I had to decide on what I wanted more helpful - this is why I had to request many tweaks to the original design. I appreciate that in sending e mails of design it may be normal practice to tweak the original e mail when making adjustments instead of a new email with adjustments - I found this difficult as I did not have separate e mails to compare the differences to see which one i liked better. I think people asked to go to the shop in Basildon should be advised beforehand that you have to pay for parking and only with cash. Many people like me do not carry cash these days I was also disappointed with is the colour mis match between wardrobes and Drawers, which is noticeable but I can live with it.

A brilliant job!

Absolutely delighted with our new bedroom furniture. The fitter, Shaun, was first-rate.... reliable, organised, and a perfectionist. His work was excellent. He paid attention to every detail and cleaned up thoroughly before he left. Thank you Shaun!

A 5 Star Performance

I was apprehensive initially after reading some of the bad reviews but I am so glad we went a head with the purchase and build. The builder went above and beyond giving a 5 star performance to an exceptional professional standard working quickly and methodically. An extremely satisfied customer

Alex, Hammonds fitter, was outstanding. Very polite, friendly and respectful. Throughout the stages and process he was thoughtful and considerate taking time to show us and ask if we were happy with all aspects of the fit, down to where we wanted the handles on the doors. We asked for a few adjustments to the interior of the wardrobe which he was happy to do and checked with us once the adjustment was completed to ensure we were happy. The finish is outstanding and perfect. Alex arrived on time and before leaving he cleaned up leaving the room clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hammonds for the quality of their products. And in particular Alex for the excellent service he gave, his professionalism and quality of his work. Thank you Alex.

Fitted bedroom

Unfortunately the surveyor didn't make it clear on the plan that some of the wardrobes were reduced depth so Ben, the fitter, initially fitted the wrong size units. When the mistake came to light Ben really pulled out all the stops to redo a whole wall of units. He worked incredibly hard and remained most obliging throughout. We are now delighted with our newly fitted bedroom.
