Why did you choose Hammonds?

"We chose Hammonds because we wanted something that would look amazing in our home and last a lifetime. Not only does this fit into an awkward space we had in our son's bedroom but it was bespoke meaning we could adapt the wardrobes to suit the space and style of the room."

 

What were your spaces like before your room transformations?

"It was a blank canvas, plain and lacked storage."

 

How would you describe your interior style?

"I love mixing old with new, we have a 1950s home so adding new features that work with the old has been really fun. I love the modern vintage look we've been creating in our home."

 

Why is organisation important to you?

"As a mum of 3 boys I need all the help I can get to keep our home organised. I love to have a home for everything so it's easy for me to find and the kids too." 

 

What are the best things about your new rooms?

"I love the colour, it was really nice being able to choose a bespoke colour that's unique to his room. It adds some extra personality and a fun element to a little boys room, I also love how we were able to use up every bit of space in the area we needed the storage. In one of the areas we added some cupboards and some shelving as it was a bit too shallow to have drawers and now we have a really nice area to display toys and books plus a fab storage space beneath it for extra bedding." 

 

How has your furniture had a positive impact on your life? 

"It's been amazing and we're already planning our next Hammonds piece for our home, from start to finish we had a really positive experience, we're so pleased with our new built in wardrobe."
