Why did you choose Hammonds?

"I’d seen Hammond’s online a few times and the quality always looked amazing. The bespoke nature of their wardrobes meant I knew I’d have lots of options to choose from, and I loved the idea of having an interior designer come to my home to consult on the design  and help me to create something totally unique to my space."

 

What was your space like before your room transformation?

"We have never really used the alcoves in the room well, I’ve played around with different furniture and before the wardrobes we just had a small set of drawers but it would always end up looking really cluttered. I had toyed with fitted wardrobes a few times in the past but I was always worried the room would look smaller with storage but in fact, it looks bigger!" 

 

How would you describe your interior style?

"I look for things that make me happy, so lots of pops of colour! The house is an old Victorian terrace so I also try to look for ways I can bring out the old features too."

 

Why is organisation important to you?

"I like having proper places to put things because otherwise, my house ends up a total mess! Old houses have lots of great nooks and crannies, so actually clever storage is really effective in this style of house."

 

What is the best thing about your new space?

"My new room feels lovely and bright, and I also think the wardrobes make it feel much more luxurious too. We finally have a proper place for things like spare pillows in the overhead boxes so it has actually impacted the rest of the house too!"
