Competition Terms and Conditions

Hammonds Fitted Furniture Ltd

1) Our competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over. This excludes our employees and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition. 

2) There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter our competition.

3) Route to entry for our competitions are either through one of our showrooms OR through our Instagram.

4a) For Store competitions, only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

4b) For Instagram competitions, the number of entries allowed will be specified in the entry details of each individual competition on our Instagram.

5) Entries submitted after the closing date and time will not be counted.

6) No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for any reason.

7) Details of how to enter a competition can be found either in store OR on our Instagram when a competition is live. 

8) A prize listed in a competition is as stated, and has no cash alternative. The prizes are non-transferrable and no cash difference will be refunded in case a voucher was claimed for a lesser value. Any unclaimed prizes by chosen winners are classed as lost and a re-draw will not take place. 

8a) Where a prize is listed as money, such as 'Win back the cost of your fitted furniture', the winners name, address and sale price will be listed and verified against Hammonds internal systems. Cash prize given will be a cash refund including VAT. Where a customer has taken finance to pay for their furniture, a cash prize will be given equal to the sale price and any agreement currently in place with any finance provider will remain in place. 

8b) Cash prizes are paid by BACS transfer only.

9) Winners are chosen at random using third party software from all entries received and verified by Hammonds or a third party agency. 

10) A winner will be notified by either email, phone or direct message through Instagram within 28 days of the closing date of the competition where possible. The winner will only ever be contacted by either Hammonds Furniture OR BrownDog Creative Agency.

11) If a winner cannot be contacted or does not provide an address for delivery within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize.

12) By entering one of our competitions, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

 

12 Doors Of Christmas Giveaway- Terms and Conditions 

1. Promoter

The promoter of this giveaway is Hammonds Furniture Ltd.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, or any other social media platform.

2. Eligibility

• The giveaway is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over only.
• Entrants must have a valid public Instagram account and must be following @hammonds_uk at the time of the draw.

3. Giveaway Period

• The 12 Doors of Christmas Giveaway will run from 06:00am on 1^ST December 2025 to 11:59pm on 18th December 2025.
• Each day’s giveaway will launch on the specified date and close at midnight on 18th December 2025.
• Winners for all 12 prizes will be selected and announced on 19th December 2025.

4. How to Enter

To enter any daily giveaway, participants must:

1. FOLLOW @hammonds_uk on Instagram.
2. LIKE the daily giveaway post.
3. SHARE the post to their Instagram Story.
4. TAG at least one friend in the comments (multiple tags in separate comments count as additional entries).

No purchase is necessary. Internet access and a valid Instagram account are required.

5. Prizes

• Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
• Hammonds Furniture Ltd reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
• Images used in promotional materials are for illustrative purposes only.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

• Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received by the closing date.
• Winners will be announced on @hammonds_uk’s Instagram account on 19th December 2025.
• Winners will be contacted via direct message from @hammonds_uk only.
• We will never ask for credit card details or payment to claim a prize.
• If a winner does not respond within 7 days of being contacted, Hammonds Furniture Ltd reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

7. Publicity & Permissions

By entering the giveaway, participants agree that Hammonds Furniture Ltd may share their Instagram handle and, where applicable, first name when announcing winners.
Winners may be asked for permission to feature their name and/or image in related promotional material.

8. Data Protection

Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed in accordance with Hammonds Furniture’s Privacy Policy and in compliance with UK data protection laws.
Data will be used solely for the purpose of administering this giveaway and will not be shared with third parties.

Once all data supplied has been used solely to send the prize to the winner, the data will be deleted from all channels.

9. General

• Hammonds Furniture Ltd reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion and these terms where necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
• The decision of Hammonds Furniture Ltd regarding any aspect of the promotion is final and binding.
