Showroom of the month - Nuneaton

In the town where Hammonds Furniture was born, our recently refurbished store is this month’s showroom of the month. Nuneaton based in Warwickshire now boasts 5 brand new kitchen displays to accompany beautiful bedrooms displays. Store manager Emma Curson showed us around.

What do you believe the new fitted kitchen displays and look of the showroom at Nuneaton offers customers?

We are all absolutely thrilled with the new look, it now means that we have so much more to demonstrate to customers. There is a stylish kitchen choice for visitors to see, between classic, contemporary or something in between. The open plan layout is inviting and the interactive screen is also extremely useful when explaining anything that we do not have on display. 

What fitted kitchen ranges do you have in store?

• In the front window we have Croft in Boathouse and Sea Salt, with a solid wood breakfast bar and a Silestone Lagoon worktop.We also have the Neff coffee machine within this display which is always a talking point. As well as a separate Welsh Dresser which is dressed beautifully.
• Highbury is displayed in Alabaster along with Plummett from the F&B Colours, this one really is an eye catcher.
• Harraton is in white with a beautiful Moak Black Sensa Granite worktop.
• Loxley in  Porcelain and Pavilion Stone with Unsui Silestone worktop.
• Liverton is in Charcoal and White with an Axiom Imperial White worktop.

Could you tell us what ranges and styles of fitted bedrooms are also on offer for customers?

• We have a beautiful Harpsden Light Praline display in a hinged door.
• Vigo Light Pine sliding robes with mirrored front display units as well as the dark pine hinged doors with curved edges and the glamour unit inside with an island covered in a stunning Peacock fabric.
• Cashmere and taupe, slim 3 panel sliding doors with Elkin Cashmere dressing table and overhead storage.
• The remaining original displays being the Willoughby Light Oak hinged door, the Radley white, the Willesley Odessa Oak and the Libretto Avola White have also been restyled giving them a fresh look in keeping with the new store.

Can you tell me what are the advantages to the sample zone and how do visitors use this?

The sample zone is so useful. Every colour in every range can be seen quite easily. It is also really handy that you can take the samples out and place them next to each other along the top of the zone. With the kitchen samples zone it is even more useful as you can also place the work top samples alongside so the customer can really get a good idea of what they will look like together.

What are the advantages to seeing the ranges for yourself in store?

There is nothing better than seeing and feeling the quality of our doors while opening and exploring the interior storage solutions. It brings to life all the inspiration that the brochure and online pictures provides. When customers open the Vigo doors and see the Glamour Unit behind they all say “Wow”. Some customers will choose their whole interior layout and door style before the designer even goes out.  

Often the store is the first step customers take on their journey with us, how does the team at Nuneaton make customers feel welcome?

We really do enjoy talking to our customers. We greet them and offer them a hot coffee from our amazing Neff coffee machine. By the time we are making the coffee we are talking with them to find out what it is they are particularly looking for, kitchen, bedroom or home office? Building a rapport with the customers is our main aim, we want customers to feel relaxed so they can explore and get the ideas rolling.

Is there parking here?

Yes the great thing about Nuneaton is that we have so much free parking space right outside our door. You will never struggle to find a space.
