Showroom of the month - Hedge End in Southampton
We’re pleased to announce that our Showroom of the month is the recently rejuvenated store at Hedge End in Southampton. An expansive, beautiful space with 17 displays including fitted wardrobes and fitted home offices. With a mixture of styles from traditional to modern and a variety in between, we met up store manager Jenny Railton as she showed us around.
What do you believe the new displays and look of the showroom offer customers?
“The new design of the showroom offers a great introduction to the Hammonds brand and a real insight into how we can transform a room. There are areas of discovery such as touch screens, sample libraries and many interior features. We also have a design hub with a coffee maker, allowing customers to take their time with a cup of coffee to explore and start creating their dream room. The new displays really highlight the versatility we offer”
How many samples do you have in-store?
“We hold over 100 door samples- every range in every available colour option. There are also handle samples and fabric swatches for finishing touches such as headboards and stools”
What are the advantages to seeing the ranges for yourself in store?
“It really brings the ranges to life seeing them as a full bedroom, providing a clearer understanding of each range and the features and benefits. With so many options to demonstrate, it’s easy to inspire a vision of how Hammonds can turn any space into something special”
This Hammonds store is based in Hedge End Trade Park, what else does this area have to offer for shoppers?
“The area has really come into its own over the last few years with some big high street brands making an appearance. We have everything from fashion and home furnishings to technology and toys. There are also some great places to grab a bite to eat when you are all shopped out”
Is there parking here?
“Yes, there is a large car park on the retail park and parking is usually available directly outside the showroom”
