Showroom of the month - Cheltenham
Our fitted furniture showroom in the charming festival and regency town of Cheltenham has recently undergone a stunning refurbishment. With the addition of 4 brand new kitchens and a new sample zone with over 100 new samples, the showroom offers a new level of inspiration. Store Manager Mandy Rampton, who has worked for the company since 2009, showed us around the newly refurbished showroom and goes in to more detail with us about the new ranges on display at Hammonds in Cheltenham.
"The team consists of myself and Store Demonstrator Maria, who has over 5 years’ experience at Hammonds. She’s a great asset to the team and we both really enjoy welcoming in customers, popping on the kettle and advising on the ranges we have over a nice hot drink.” - Mandy Rampton
What do you believe the new kitchen displays and look of the showroom offers customers?
“The new kitchen displays give our customers a real WOW factor; we have something for everyone. The linear lines and sleek look of the Liverton range to our Croft shaker design that is beautifully hand finished in a Farrow and Ball paint. The showroom has lots of clever storage ideas for the kitchen too, from internal drawers to the Le Mans corner unit and my favourite; the larder pull out unit. There really are some clever tricks in the studio to help make the most of the space in your kitchen.”
What kitchen ranges do you have in store?
Highbury in French Grey & mussel

What are the advantages to seeing the ranges for yourself in store?
“To get a sense of the quality and look of the product, we’d always recommend visiting the showroom to feel the wood grain of the cabinetry. Our brochures are full of inspiration but the displays bring the experience of choosing your furniture to life. Clever design ideas demonstrating how to utilise awkward spaces, like sloped celings, to the storage solutions that just make life easier for our customers. Myself and Maria enjoy showing visitors all of the clever storage solutions that will help them make the most of their precious space.”
The Hammonds showroom is based in Cheltenham, what attractions would you recommend to visit in Cheltenham when visiting for the day?
“Cheltenham is a great place to visit; there’s always something to do and this March the prestigious Cheltenham races is held, home of the Gold Cup. A great place to explore is Pitville Park, the town’s largest ornamental park; it holds playgrounds, a boating lake and an aviary. Imperial gardens host many outdoor events in the summer months including the literature, jazz, science and music festivals.”
Is there parking here near the Hammonds showroom in Cheltenham?
“Yes, there is ample free car parking located directly opposite the store entrance, situated between the two stone pillars. For any more information about the showroom before visiting, myself and Maria will be happy to answer any questions.”
