Coastal Interior Moodboard:
Hazy sunsets watched while we sink our toes into golden sand next to a sea vista… we’re loving UK staycations this year. Whether Whitby or Whitley, or a trip to the sunny south, the UK seaside has plenty to offer.
We contacted Chris after he purchased from Hammonds late 2016 as we were excited to see his fashionable choice of fitted furniture that he and partner Ria decided on for their new bedroom.
Chris Stark, Radio 1 DJ, and the recent customer decided Hammonds would be the perfect fit for his master bedroom.
We contacted Chris after he purchased from Hammonds late 2016 as we were excited to see his fashionable choice of fitted furniture that he and his partner decided on for their new bedroom.
The young couple chose the sophisticated and fresh Radley range in matte white with silver handles. Clean lines and slab doors with a monochrome flavour, sets the scene for this stylish Scandinavian-themed bedroom.
With ample space at one end of the roo,m it was an obvious choice to design a six-door, floor to ceiling wardrobe with two mirrored doors, giving the room a larger feel.
Chris and Ria are over the moon with their new Hammonds furniture describing the Radley ranges as “amazing” and overall Hammonds experience as “very professional”.
Sarah Slimm, the interior designer who styled this Radley White bedroom explains;
“Monochrome interiors are one of the most confident interior styles and shades of grey have now become the new magnolia for interiors. There are now grey accessories galore on the high street from deep gun metals to cloudy tones and it is such a versatile colour; you can add any highlight colour easily. In this shot with the simplicity of the Radley White we have used a deep navy blue velvet from Harlequin boutique collection as an accent keeping the palette calm.To stop the styling from becoming too washy, the use of geometrics give depth to the style and adds structure. To accentuate the colour palette and geometric I have to tied it in with some simple Scandinavian inspired table lamps from B&Q.”
